Pumpkins as heads

Elves love pumpkins!  While we were busy decorating the workshop recently, with Jack-o’-lanterns, we thought of what wondrous creatures we could create if we mixed pumpkins with animals and birds, making the pumpkin the head, of course.

Take a sparrow, for example.  Oh, we laughed and laughed at this illustration!

And what about bats?  We immediately put off the decorating and experimented with a bat, too.

He is almost more cute than scary, isn’t he?  Though I think I would still be uncomfortable if I saw one flying around.

What sort of beasts might you come up with?  Pumpkins can be combined with anything that catches your eye.
